The Quebec Auto Insurance Plan does not provide for any compensation when you hurt someone while driving a vehicle off road. The Off-Road Vehicles Act requires that you take out civil liability coverage. A minimum of $2,000,000 in coverage is generally recommended to ensure you can enjoy your free time well protected.

Also, if you plan a trip to the United States with your camper, you must hold civil liability coverage. In the event you have an accident in the United States, you could be prosecuted for physical damage or bodily injury. A minimum $2,000,000 in liability coverage will ensure you are protected.
