$100 Welcome offer on your car insurance
The welcome offer only applies to new clients of National Bank General Insurance for a car insurance contract purchased online. The $100 cashback is for a two-year contract for a minimum annual value of $500, excluding the 5% tax. The car insurance contract must take effect within 60 days of purchase and stay in effect for a minimum of 45 days. Only applies to passenger cars. Offer valid from April 5 to June 30, 2013. Only one $100 cashback per contract. If the new client is eligible, the cashback will be deposited to his or her bank account approximately 45 days after the effective date of the contract.
One month of tenant insurance coverage for free
The free month of tenant insurance offered by National Bank General Insurance Inc. ("NBGI") applies only to new NBGI clients who sign up for a new tenant insurance contract for a minimum of two years. This offer, worth up to $50, corresponds to the tenant insurance premium payable for one month of coverage on a two-year contract with NBGI. The tenant insurance contract—subscribed to by the client with NBGI—must take effect within a maximum of 60 days following the purchase of the contract and remain in effect for a minimum period of 45 days. Offer valid from April 15 to August 31, 2013. One cashback per contract only. If the new NBGI client is eligible, he will receive his NBGI cashback in the form of a bank transfer approximately 45 days after his contract with NBGI comes into effect.
“First 800” initiative
To participate in the contest, you must:
- Receive a promotional card from an accredited representative of the Vibrant marketing firm as part of the “First 800” initiative.
- Own a car.
- Call 514-871-8525 to speak to a property and casualty insurance agent to request a car insurance quote and be quoted a premium between March 19, 2013 and June 30, 2013 at 11:59 p.m.
- Be among the first 800 out of a possible 15,000 individuals to finalize an insurance quote and be quoted a premium as part of this contest.
- Communicate the unique validation code on your promotional card to the property and casualty insurance agent, who will validate it on a secure website.
If all the above conditions are met, the agent will confirm that a gift card ($15 value) has been activated and will be sent to the applicant at the address provided for the insurance quote within 30 days. For more details, dowload the contest rules.
"Free Gasoline for a Year" Contest
Win free gas fill-ups for an entire year! There are two ways to enter this contest:
a) Apply for auto insurance online at nbc-insurance.ca during the Contest Period; or
b) Apply for auto insurance by telephone and obtain an insurance quote during the Contest Period.
Participants have a chance of winning the grand prize by entering the contest using either of the methods described above. For more details, read the contest rules.
"Win One Year of Free Auto Insurance Coverage" Contest
This contest is now closed. The draw will take place on January 4.
This contest is being held by National Bank General Insurance Inc. (the “Contest Organizer”) in Quebec only during three separate periods, namely from March 30, 2012 to 9:00 p.m. on April 1, 2012, on August 18 until 9:00 p.m., and from September 15 to 11:59 p.m. on December 15, 2012 (together, these three periods form the "Contest Period"). Conditions applying to this promotion
The difference between a 35% saving and no saving can be explained by the fact that to benefit from a 35% saving the client must have had no liable accident in the last year, which means the same client who has had at least two liable accidents in the last year would not benefit from any saving. The acceptance of the client by the insurer and the percentage of savings for the client depend on the client’s record. Some conditions apply to this discount.
