Accident Benefits
Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (or SABS) is the provincial regulation of benefits, standardized among every insurance companies. If you’ve been injured in a car accident, it is possible that you're entitled to certain financial benefits that could offer monetary aid while recovering from the incident. Regardless of fault, Statutory Accident Benefits are there to provide compensation to anyone involved (you, your passengers or pedestrians) who suffers an injury in an automobile accident.
Uninsured Automobile Coverage
If ever you’re hurt in an accident, your Uninsured Automobile Coverage will be there to protect you under two different scenarios. The first is if you get into an accident with another driver who doesn’t have insurance coverage and the second being if you can’t identify the other vehicle; for example, in the case of a hit and run.
Direct Compensation – Property Damage
If you’re in an accident and you're found to be not at fault, Direct Compensation Property Damage (DCPD) could potentially cover the damage to your car and the things in it. For example, let’s say you get into a collision and the other driver is found to be at fault. Your car gets damaged and you make a claim to your insurance company. Your insurer would pay for the damages. In this situation there’s no need for a lengthy and costly lawsuit between the drivers. With that in mind, if the other driver is only 50% at-fault, DCPD would only cover 50% of the damage to the vehicle, its contents, and the loss of use.

Auto Claim Forgiveness
Accidents happen, even to good drivers. We understand this that’s why we will forgive your first at-fault accident. This means that you won’t face an increase in your premiums when it comes time for a policy renewal as a direct result of your first at-fault accident.

Coverage for Transportation Replacement - OPCF 20
Coverage for Transportation Replacement covers the cost for the rental of an automobile while the Insured vehicle is out of use due to a covered Physical Damage claim. This coverage is limited to a maximum of $3,000 per incident and the vehicle must carry full coverage in order to be eligible. Call us to learn more!
